The easiest way to get started with our virtual servers is through our pre-installed servers. We can provide you with AlmaLinux, CentOS, Debian, openSUSE or Ubuntu pre-installed on your server. However, if you want to install your own operating system (OS) you can do so at any time.
To install your own OS, you will need to follow the following steps:
- Upload the ISO of the operating system you want to install in the client area, and
- change the boot order to let the server boot from your ISO over the "Boot Order" option in the client area, and
- reboot the virtual server through clicking "Restart" button in the client area,
- open the VNC console in the client area in the upper left menu to manually install the OS.
Once you launch the VNC console you should see the screen of the installer and you can install the choosen OS the same way as you might be used to on your own local machine.
